Mumbai (RBI), Apl.25: Bhavani Lakshminarayan Shetty (82.) a well-known veteran stage actress in Brihanmumbai, died of age-related ailments at her home in Mulund a suburb of India.
She earned her own reputation in the theater by acting in a play by the renowned dramatist of the country, Kodu Bhoja Shetty. She got attention by singing thousands of riddles and folk songs melodiously.
The deceased is survived by a family including Son (Manoj Kumar Shetty), Daughter (Seema Marnad), Son-in-law (Mohan Marnad), Daughter-in-law (Utpala Manoj Shetty). Family members said that the funeral of the deceased will be held at Rudrabhoomi on Mulund Dumpig Road West at 3.00 pm on Friday (Apl.26).
