Udupi: Trinity Central School takes immense pride in announcing that four of its Bulbul students were conferred the prestigious Rajya Puraskar Award at a grand ceremony held at Raj Bhavan, Bengaluru, on 10th July 2026. Representing Udupi District, the following students earned this distinguished honour through their dedication, discipline and commitment to the ideals of the Bharat Scouts and Guides movement:

Preesha P. Devadiga – Grade 5A
Sanshitha R. Sanil – Grade 5A
Shravya – Grade 5C
The Rajya Puraskar Award, one of the highest state-level honours in the Bharat Scouts and Guides, is presented to young Scouts, Guides, Cubs and Bulbuls who successfully complete rigorous tests in leadership, service, discipline, teamwork, community welfare and practical life skills. The award encourages children to become responsible citizens who uphold the values of integrity, self-reliance and compassion.
The award was presented by Shri U. T. Khader, Hon’ble Minister of Health and Family Welfare, at the prestigious Raj Bhavan. On behalf of Trinity Central School, Ms. Preesha P. Devadiga of Grade 5A had the honour of receiving the award during the ceremony, representing the school and her fellow awardees with great pride. Ms. Sharon D’Souza, the Flock Leader of Trinity Central School, also accompanied the students to Raj Bhavan and shared in the pride of witnessing this remarkable achievement.
Bulbuls, the junior wing of the Bharat Scouts and Guides for young girls, play a significant role in nurturing qualities such as kindness, discipline, teamwork, patriotism, and a spirit of service from an early age. Through engaging activities, community service, outdoor learning and character-building programmes, the Bulbul movement empowers children to grow into confident and responsible individuals.
