Kallianpur: The General Parent-Teacher Association (GPTA) Meeting of Milagres English Medium School, Kallianpur, was held on 27 July 2026 in the school auditorium.
The programme was presided over by Rev. Fr. Rickson Monteiro, President. The Principal, Rev. Sr. Sagaya Selvi, BS, graced the occasion. Mr. Basheer, PTA President, was also present on the dais along with the coordinators, Mr. Nelson D’Souza and Mrs. Irene Vas.
The programme began with a warm welcome by Mr. Nelson D’Souza. The resource person, Mrs. Lisa Kiran Rodrigues, delivered an inspiring talk on the vital role of parents in the overall development of children. She highlighted the importance of parental involvement, guidance, and cooperation in shaping the future of every child.
The Principal, Rev. Sr. Sagaya Selvi, BS, addressed the gathering and explained the rules and regulations of the school. She urged parents to work hand in hand with the school to ensure the holistic growth and discipline of the students.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs. Priya Rego, who expressed gratitude to the dignitaries, parents, teachers, and everyone who contributed to the success of the programme.
On the same day, club activity competitions were also conducted. The Cultural Club secured the First Place, while the Eco Club secured the Second Place.
The meeting concluded successfully with active participation from the parents, strengthening the partnership between the school and families for the betterment of the students.
