Catechism Sunday was celebrated in Milagres Cathedral, Kallianpur on Sunday, 5th March, 2023 with the Eucharistic Holy Mass. This was followed by a cultural program comprising a good mix of songs, dance, and skits based on the teachings of Christ. Prizes were distributed to the toppers and also those who had 100% attendance i.e. attended all Sunday Catechism classes regularly without fail. Teachers too were presented with mementos as a token of appreciation for all their efforts and hard work.
Rev. Fr. Valerian Mendonca, Rector of the Cathedral, in his address, gave the message on the importance of learning the catechism which will also mould their character and also on the parent’s role in sending the kids for Sunday classes.
