ATM center of SBI inaugurated at Shri Vinayaka Temple premises at Kallianpur

Udupi : The State Bank of India (SBI) ATM center was inaugurated at Sri Vinayaka Temple premises at Kote Road-Kallianpur Road junction, Kallianpur here on Wednesday, September 7, 2022.

The ATM was inaugurated by Pramod Madhwaraj former minister along with Very Rev Fr. Valerian Mendonca, Rector of Milagres Cathedral Kallianpur and Correspondent of Milagres Educational Institutions, Nanda Kishore Chief General Manager, SBI, Bengaluru Circle and Anurag Joshi General Manager, Network III Bengaluru and others.

In his inaugural address Pramod Madhwaraj said that the undivided Dakshina Kannada District has been the land of four nationalized banks out of 14 national banks which were nationalized by then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. This is the banking community and so SBI bank is here which has given an opportunity to our community to serve. We are Udupi people competing in the banking sector not only in India but also in European countries and the United States of America. our standard of banking is much better than the international banking sector. In the banking sector, three districts of Karnataka Udupi, Dakshina Kannada and Bengaluru rural areas are getting deposits in large numbers and these three districts are developed in every field, he said.

The chief guest Very Rev Fr. Valerian Mendonca appreciated the initiatives of the SBI to open ATM offices in rurual areas like Kallianpur in order to get top services from the bank. SBI is one of the top banking sectors in the country. The locals especially from the surroundings of Kallianpur Thonse should take advantage of the services from the bank.

Nanda Kishore and others also spoke during the occasion. Krishna President of Kallianpur Gram Panchayat, Iqbal Manna, Anand Karnad and other SBI top officers were present during the programme.

Sathish Thonse, one of the trustees of Shri Vinayak Temple and former officer of SBI welcomed, compared  and proposed a vote of thanks.
