Udupi: Milagres Cathedral Celebrates Catechism Day On Sunday, March 3rd, 2024, Milagres Cathedral in Kallianpur held its annual Catechism Day celebration. The day began with a special mass at 8:00 AM, where the children actively participated in the liturgy. Rev. Fr. Valerian Mendonca, the cathedral’s rector, presided over the mass.
Following the mass, there was a prize distribution ceremony led by Fr. Joy Andrade, who honored the Catechism exam toppers. The celebration also recognized the dedication of the Catechism teachers with appreciative gifts.
To conclude the program, the children were treated to a delightful serving of ice cream.
