Udupi: Catholic Sabha Kallianpur Varado organised the Deanery level Elocution Competitions in Konkani and Kannada on 12th October, 2024, at Mount Rosary English Medium High School at 9.30 am, bringing together young orators from various schools across the nine parishes. The event aimed to foster public speaking skills, boost confidence, and encourage students to express their thoughts on pertinent social issues.
The panel consisted of six esteemed judges hailing from Kundapur, Udupi and Shirva Varado’s provided valuable feedback and encouragement to all participants.
Participants exhibited impressive skills, with some delivering speeches that were not only eloquent but also deeply thought-provoking.

The event was a resounding success, with enthusiastic participation and commendable performances. It provided a platform for young voices to be heard and celebrated. The organizers Catholic Sabha team led by its president Mrs Rosy Quadrus expressed gratitude to all participants, judges, and volunteers for their efforts in making this event memorable.
We look forward to seeing these talented individuals shine in future Udupi Diocese Level competitions, as the first and second place winners, qualified for the next level to be held on 3rd November, 2024.
