Udupi : With a profound sense of patriotism and pride, the entire Milagres English Medium School community, including students of Play School and Kindergarten, joyously commemorated the 77th Independence Day of our nation.
The Flag Hoisting Ceremony, held within the school grounds, served as a unifying event, gathering students, teachers, and well-wishers in a spirit of togetherness.
Fr. Joy Andrade presided over the function and hoisted the the national flag—a symbolic representation of India’s transformative journey to freedom. His message on the occasion resonated deeply with students, emphasizing their responsibility in shaping a brighter, united future and underscoring the significance of independence and freedom.
Gracing the event were the Headmistress, Sr. Shanti Prameela, and Mrs. Sonia, Vice President of the PTA.
The students’ contributions were a highlight, as their vibrant performances, encompassing dances and eloquent speeches, illuminated the celebration. The melodious rendition of patriotic songs by the students added a harmonious touch to the atmosphere.
During the event, those students who did exceptionally well in sports and games were recognised, honoured and rewarded. This also acted as a source of inspiration for everyone.
