Mumbai, Sept.02: Students from four schools Ryan International School, Tagore Nagar, Nashik; Ryan International School, Ojhar; St. Francis School, Tidke Colony; and St. Francis School, Rane Nagar took part in an enriching Internship Programme at the IBIS Hotel, Nashik.
The programme offered students an inside look into the functioning of the hospitality industry. They were taken on an extensive tour of the hotel’s key departments, such as the front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and guest relations. The sessions helped them understand how each department plays a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Interactive discussions with hotel managers and staff further exposed students to the essentials of customer service, event management, and the value of teamwork. They were also introduced to the professional skills needed in the field of hospitality, including communication, time management, and problem-solving. This internship not only provided practical exposure but also inspired students to consider hospitality as a promising career path.
Guided by the vision of Founder-Chairman Dr. A. F. Pinto and Managing Director Dr. Grace Pinto of the Ryan Group of Schools, this internship programme was organized to equip students with hands-on learning experiences, provide skill-based education, broaden their knowledge of career opportunities, and instill in them the values of professionalism and excellence.
