Udupi: The closing ceremony of the Brahmavara Taluka Level Sports Meet was held on 25 October. Rev Fr Pradeep cardoza was the president for the ceremony. He in his short message advised the students to accept both success and failures in sportsmanship spirit.
Chief guest Miss Monisha Amin, Taluk physical education officer Mr. Jagdish K, district physical education association president Mr.Vijay Kumar Shetty, Taluk physical education association president Mr. Prasanna Kumar Shetty , Milagres high school headmistress Sr. Anitha D Souza Milagres Eng Med school headmistress Sr. Shanthi Pramilla, P T A president and vice presidents were present for the program.
The ceremony witnessed appreciation to everyone for the grand success of the event, extinguishing sports lamp, lowering and handing over of the flag and so on. 4 students from different schools received individual championships. In under 14 boys category GPUC Brahmavara got championship and under 14 girls category GHS Kokkarne. Under 17 boys category GPUC Brahmavara and under 17 girls category GHS avarse became championship. Government P U College Brahmavara received overall championship.
