Mumbai, Feb.17: St.John Konkani Samudai (SJKS) of St. John the Evangelist Church Marol, A ‘Biblical Magic Show’ was presented This (Saturday) evening at the St. John the Evangelist school premises in Marol, Andheri East. National Fame Magician Rev. Fr. Ivan Madtha performed a biblical magic show in Konkani based on the Salvation History from the ‘Creation’ to the ‘Ascension’.
SJKS Spiritual Director of SJKS Rev. Fr. Herold Quadros began the program with a prayer. Parish priest of SJE Church Rev. Fr. Anthony J.Fernandes, Priests Rev. Fr. Andrew Mukadam, Rev. Fr. Suresh Thokala, Sr. Victoria (Principal of St. John the Evangelist High School), Sr. Rani, Sr. Maggie, and as a guest Award winning playwright Francis Fernandes Cascia, were present. and the elite performed magic Fr. Ivan Madta and Sr. Doris honored them and congratulated the sponsor of the programme.
SJKS President Sunita A.Soares, Vice President Hilda Pereira, Joint Secretary John Lobo, Treasurer Thelma D’Sa, Joint Treasurer Jaya Veera Monteiro, Legal Advisor Lawrence D’souza Kemmannu, Managing Committee Members Edwin Augustine Soares, Thomas Pereira, James P.D’sa, Alice Baptist D’souza, Claudy F.Monteiro, Gretta Dannis Dsilva, Ida Wilson Pinto, Leena Walter Lasrado, Violet Aulis Lobo, Prema Pramila Yalangi, Lavina Stephen, Stephen John Members and other members were present in large.
Programme was started with prayer song by youth. Clement A.Lobo welcome the gathering and compared the program. Rev. Fr. Herold Quadros proposed vote of thanks. Spokesperson of SJKS said that they will perform a biblical magic show in English for children on Sunday (Feb.18) morning and in the evening for magic lovers.
