Udupi: A talk on ‘ALCOHOL AND DRUG ABUSE’ was conducted on June 30, 2023 at Trinity Central School by Fr. Charles Saldanha, the Director of Asha Kiran De-addiction Centre, Herur, Brahmavar. He has conducted several such talks from which the youth have benefited a lot.
Fr. Charles brought an awareness about alcohol and drug usage to the students of Grade 9 and 10.
Highlight of the session was how the alcohol and drugs interfere with the brain’s communication pathways, and can affect the way the brain works.
It was a very informative talk for the students as it brought awareness about various diseases caused due to the usage of drugs and alcohol. Overall it was an enlightening seminar for the holistic development of the children.
