Udupi: District Collector Vidyakumari has ordered a holiday for all schools and undergraduate colleges in Udupi district in view of the Meteorological Department’s report that due to high rainfall in the district, there is a possibility of high water flow and heavy rainfall.
Due to high rainfall in the district, there is a possibility of high water levels in rivers and streams and there is a possibility of heavy rains, the District Collector has ordered to declare holiday for all schools and undergraduate colleges in Udupi district.
District Collector Vidyakumari has revised the order which was earlier announced only for Byndur taluk.
