Udupi: In a commendable initiative aimed at promoting education and linguistic proficiency, Milagres High School, Kallianpur witnessed a significant event on Friday, the 18th of August, 2023.
The collaboration between Rotary Club – Udupi, Inner Wheel Club – Udupi, Hollas Foundation, and Rotary Bangalore Orchards led to the distribution of free English Standard Dictionaries to the students of the school. These dictionaries are set to become valuable resources in enhancing the students’ language skills and expanding their vocabulary.
The event was graced by dignitaries including Rotarian Deepa Bhandari, the President of Rotary Club Udupi and Smt. Satyavati Hebbar, the President of Inner Wheel Club Udupi. The school’s Headmistress, Sr. Anita DSouza, members of Rotary and Inner Wheel Club, added to the significance of the occasion.
The event was hosted by co-teacher Savita Kumari, who ensured its smooth flow.
