Udupi: Mr. Mohandas Nayak, a dedicated teacher who has served selflessly at St. Joseph’s Primary School, Kallianpur, for an impressive 41 years bid farewell to his beloved institution on 31st July, 2023. To express gratitude and honour his long and illustrious career, a farewell ceremony was held on 1st August, 2023.
The event was graced by esteemed guests, including members of the School Management, Parent Teachers Association, Teaching & Non-Teaching faculty, Alumni Association, and the cherished students who had been touched by Mr. Nayak’s guidance over the years.
The function began at 10:30 am, at the Milagres Tri-centenary Hall. Rev. Fr. Valerian Mendonca, the Correspondent of the School, presided over the event, bestowing his blessings and warm wishes upon Mr. Nayak for a healthy and fulfilling retired life.
The program was beautifully conducted by Teacher Diana Fernandes, providing everyone with an opportunity to bid a fond farewell to Mr. Mohandas Nayak and express their appreciation for his invaluable contributions to the school and its students.
As Mr. Nayak embarks on a new chapter in his life, the farewell ceremony served as a genuine tribute to his long and remarkable career as a dedicated teacher, inspiring countless young lives during their formative years at St. Joseph’s Primary School.
