Udupi: ‘Career Guidance and Placement Cell’, Milagres College Kallianpur organised Four days of Soft Skills Training Program with the objective of the ‘Soft Skills Training Program’ was to equip students with essential skills to enhance their employability and prepare them for the professional world.
The ‘Soft Skills Training Program’ was a huge success, with 95 final-year BA, BSc, and BCA students participating in the program. The program covered essential topics such as – communication skills, teamwork, time management, and interview techniques. The resource persons, especially renowned Mr Chandan delivered engaging sessions, and students actively participated in the activities and exercises.
The program helped students to develop essential soft skills, which will benefit them in their future careers. Students reported an increase in confidence and a better understanding of the skills required succeeding in the professional world.
The Soft Skills Training Program was a valuable initiative by the Career Guidance and Placement Cell of Milagres College Kallianpur, aimed at enhancing the employability of students.
College Administration and Teaching faculty always focus on this aspect as it believes in Career counselling or Planning, even seeking guidance from experts help the young, especially would be graduates, to understand themselves, and the world of work, in order to make a career, furtherance of educational qualifications and life decisions.
Prof. Sophia Dias, the Vice Principal, Mrs Radhika Patkar, Mr. Karthik Nayak, Placement officer, Mr. Ravinandan Bhat, PRO, Mr. Anil Danthi and Mr Ganesh Nayak, NSS officer were present.
