Mumbai, Sep 08: The Konkan Association Charitable Trust celebrated the 28th annual Nativity feast on honour of the birth of Mamma Mary at the Vincent Pallotti Church Hall in Marol, Andheri East on Friday evening.
Director of Model Bank Ltd., Advocate of Mumbai High Court Pius Vaz was the Chief Guest, Director of Velvin Industries Premila Vincent Mathias, Director of Divo Weekly Lawrence Coehlo, Entrepreneurs Harold Castellino, Donor Jessie D’Silva, retired teacher, former President of the Trust, Benedicta B. Rebello, Ex. President Walter D’Souza Kalmadi was seated on the dais.
In the beginning Vincent Pallotti parish priest Rev Fr. Victor Martis performed prayer in remembrance of mother nature and worshiped the mother and blessed the new faddy.
In the program Sr.Sangeeta, Sr.Semla, Anita Walter D’Souza, Lily Leo Fernandes, Flora D’Souza Jerimary, Reginald Santumayar, Stany Fernandes, Pavel Mascarenhas, Vincent Castellino Borivili, Blaney D’Costa, Ryan Serrao (Model Bank), Prem Vaz Sakinaka, Suzanha L. Coelho, Christopher Solomon, Ashwini D’Souza and other dignitaries and members were present and scholarships were distributed to the children of the members.
Trust General Secretary Peter Ribeiro, Treasurer Pritesh Castellino, Joint Secretary Vincent Castellino, Joint Treasurer Manuel P. Fernandes, Member John Rodriguez, Elias D’Souza felicitated the guests. Cyril Castellino hosted the program. President Leo Fernandez Jerimeri welcomed and explained the specialness of the festival.
Alina D’Souza, Rutu Vas, Reishal A. D’Souza, Leishal A. D’Souza presented the dance. Manuel Fernandez, Veronica D’Souza entertains with songs. Blessed Novea was distributed with milk. At the end, remembering Mother Nature, the Monthi feast concluded with a traditional pure vegetarian meal along with the children of the ashram.
