Udupi: The Parishoners of Milagres Cathedral, Kallianpur, came together on Sunday morning who were eager to express their warm wishes and gratitude to their Asst. Parish Priest Fr. Joy Andrade on the occasion of his birthday. The celebration took place right after the 8 am mass in the church premises.
The Parish Choir Team set the tone by melodiously singing a heartfelt birthday hymn, resonating with the joyous spirit of the occasion.
Fr. Joy Andrade cut the cake, symbolizing the sharing of happiness and fellowship among the parishioners. The atmosphere was filled with applause and cheers as everyone united to mark this special day in the life of their beloved pastor. All those present were treated to a slice of the celebratory cake.
Rev. Fr. Valerian Mendonca, the Rector of Milagres Cathedral, conveyed his blessings and good wishes. Mr. Melwyn Sequeira, Vice President of the PPC along with Mrs. Eugene Rebello, Secretary of the PPC, and Mrs. Prema Lewis, Convener of the Diocesan 20 Commissions in the parish, were also present to join in the celebration.
