Udupi: A loser will have more experience than a winner said Mr Prakhyath Kumar, an alumnus of the college addressing the students in the college annual sports meet. Whenever an opportunity is thrown by the college for the students, he urged the students to grab them because God may not give a second chance he added.

Dr Vincent Alva, Principal welcomed the guests and all gathered and advised students to take part in all the sports events. By doing, we learn he suggested.

Very Rev Fr Valerian Mendonca, Correspondent of Milagres Institutions applauded the college for its mission to train students in sports in a systematic and efficient way. He wished students every success in the field of sports and athletics.

The college honoured and recognised Mrs Annamma, from the department of Economics for her contribution to the college and sports.

The students had sports light run and took the oath of sportsmanship and obedience to the rules. Mr Abhith Hegde, the secretary for sports administerd the oath to students.

The college choir sung a melodious prayer song in the beginning and there was a march past competition in which students marched to the rhythm of the sports band.

Mr Nikhil D’Souza, the Physical Education Director, Dr Jayaram Shettigar, the IQAC coordinator of the college, Mrs Annamma, Mrs Sophia Dias and Mrs Clara Menezes were present.

Mr Ravinandan Bhat and Mrs Chandrika compered the program. Ms Varsha Mestha proposed vote of thanks.
