Udupi: To commemorate the historical Platinum Jubilee of Viveka Educational Institutions at Kota, weeklong celebrations are planned by the organisers.

One of the wonderful programmes truly enjoyed by the youngsters and children is the Exhibition of various sorts – focusing on different facets of social, economical and cultural life and living of both past and present.

Various educational institutions, Colleges – Traditional, Medical & Engineering, Social platforms and Associations put up their stalls, are having good number of visitors.

What really astonished the undersigned is the stall set by NITI (National Industrial & Technical Institute of Barkur), exhibiting creativity, modern technical developments, tiny mechanical and electrical equipments designed and made by the students, proved to be a centre of attraction.

Prototypes, miniatures and models such as loading materials, lights getting on and off, by clapping attracting children and actual body of motor vehicle – understanding the functions of its gear box, engine, brake system, lighting, air conditioning etc proved to be a basic  knowledge provider to vehicle owners etc. It’s a great experience, as the volunteers shared, more women vehicle owners are curious to understand the system and functioning and spend more time in these outlets.

We congratulate team NITI, which was recently awarded as best Technical Institute in the State, especially the students well trained and encouraged by its Principal Prof V. Kramadhari, his teaching staff and trainers. Most importantly, the keen interest and enthusiasm of young students and not showing any sort of tiredness in explaining to the visitors deserved to be appreciated.

We are sure, hundreds who had a glimpse from distance, made it a point to get into these stalls and rightly carried home an experience of a different kind as they remember the host Viveka Institutions for this opportunity and NITI, which has a brilliant legacy of four decades, since 1984, now praised for their innovative exhibition of talent, technical expertise and the guest treatment offered by the volunteers in these stalls.
