The auditorium of the National PU College immersed with emotions, as it bid adieu to its students.

Udupi: The examinations schedule Class XII is out and students putting their best efforts to face them on 1st March, 2024 onwards. The teaching faculty and Management led by Principal Prof U Kotraswamy organised a beautiful farewell ceremony on Tuesday, 27th February, 2024, at 10.30 am.

‘It was mixed feeling’ as Physical Director Mr Umesh Shetty a man loved and respected by all and sundries in the College, expressed in his opening remarks and called back his association with the students for the last  2 – 5 five years, both in the class rooms and in grounds.

To begin the event Mrs Aishwarya Shetty, Lecturer in Physics invoked Almighty’s blessings with a well sung hymn and Mrs Vijaya Laxmi, Lecturer in Commerce took charge of flow of events that followed. Mr Ravi Lamani Lecturer in Hindi shared his experiences with on e his best batch of students and wished them all success in the forthcoming examinations. Mrs Usha Kiran Shetty, Lecturer in Mathematics had shared beautiful tips how to prepare, face and score well in the forthcoming examination.  Mr Ullittaya, Lecturer in Sanskrit shared few great moments in the learning journey, in this beautiful campus and assured the blessings of parents, elders, teachers always there for your growth and welfare.

On behalf of the Old Students Association, its Treasurer, Mrs Jyothi Shetty remembered her days in PU in this College and sentiments attached to her Alma mater and wished all the very best in their career and future. Mrs Hemavathy PS too took the occasion to wish all the students very best in the public exams and cautioned not to panic or worry about, since teachers prepared them well and hard work will not go in vein.

Students from all the three streams shared their heartfelt feelings – especially thanked all the Lecturers for their best efforts and assured to give back the guru dakshina in getting the best possible results in the State level exams.

Mr Gopala Naik, the correspondent of the National Junior College, congratulated the students for choosing this institution for their studies and carry home a legacy of pleasant memories for life time and world is full of opportunities and grab the one best suitable and excel in the chosen field.

Prof Archibald Furtado, Administrator of the National Group of Institutions, shared his heydays as a student and its once one go out of the Campus realise the value and develop close attachment to their temple of learning and teachers who taught them. He also sincerely thanked Principal Prof Kottraswamy and the team of talented and dedicated teaching faculty for their determined and sacrificial contribution in imparting just not knowledge but lessons for life and living.

Principal Prof Kottraswamy who presided over the function had lot of things to share and guide the students, how to be successful in life and give back to parents, society and the Institution moulded them. Be the ambassadors of this National brand of educational Institutions and make all of us stake holders proud and contented.

The wind up the beautiful programme, Mrs Jyothi, Lecturer in Kannada proposed vote of thanks to all, for their participation and contribution to make the event memorial and meaningful.
