Udupi: The Health Commission Milagres Church Kallianpur organized Diabetes, Prevention and Care talk by Dr. Shruthi Ballal a Renowned Diabetologist and Family Physician and Consultant at BIG MEDICAL CENTER, Udupi on Sunday 12th June 2024 at Kallianpur Milagres Tri Centinary Hall. She emphasized on prevention of diabetes by disciplined, timely and portion-control of food habits of breakfast, mid snacks, lunch, noon snacks and Dinner. Also she pressed on regular exercise routine and yoga as she has a mission to train young minds on behavioral aspects and also consistently practice and preach Exercise. With regard to those already taking medication either tablets or insulin, strictly to follow doctors advice without any deviation what’s so ever.
The event started at 9 am with prayer song and after welcoming and honoring guests the resource person was introduced with her Academic achievements and Certificates, Awards, Positions held and Current activities etc. Milagres cathedral Rector Fr. Valerian Mendonca presided, Pastoral Council Secretary and Pastoral 20 commissions Coordinator and number of people were present. Program got over in two hours.
