World Mental Health Day Celebration in Manasa Pamboor.

Udupi: World Mental Health day was celebrated Manasa Pamboor on 10.10.2023 in the Manasa School hall alon with the parents of Autism section. President and Managing Trustee Mr Henry Menezes welcomed the members. Trustee Mr John Martis explained the steps taken by the management to establish the well equipped Autism centre with the guidance of Eshanya Foundation Banglore.

Mr Kehav, Asst professor MAHE in Occupation therapy was the resource person. He explained the parents how to take care of children and themselves. He said that we should accept the disability of our children instead of denying, should not feel guilty assuming we are the cause for the disability, should think how we can rain in the present rather than worrying about child’s future, we should take the child to the family functions despite the problems so the child get socialized, we must get connected with others and seek assistance, share the burden of bringing up child with family members . He also advised to take care of the health and have some some time for relax.

Principal Sr. Ancilla Fernandes explained the various under taken to train the children. Parents expressed happiness in the progress of the children. Teacher Asha proposed vote of thanks. Prabha teacher compared the program. Secretary Joseph Noronha, Jt Secretary Dr Gerald Pinto, trustee Dr Edward Lobo, PTA president Mrs Seema Shetty were present.
