Udupi: Every new beginning is actually the end of something someone had already ended.
A dashing welcome was given to a new bunch of students joining Milagres College, Kallianpur joining it’s various courses under Milagres Institutions.
Dr Jayaram Shettigar, the IQAC coordinator of the college welcomed the gathering and gave a brief introduction about the whole institution.
Dr Vincent Alva, Principal addressed the students and exhorted all the students to mark this day as a significant day of life as they are joining a premier educational institutions. Undoubtedly he gave the students the insights on education, classroom discipline, respecting the elders, consciousness of time and time management. Discipline and being disciplined, he said are the important aspects of life of a Milagres students. He opened before the students the various opportunities in the campus other than academics like sports and games, the gym and various clubs and associations, NCC, Rangers and rovers and NSS.
Mr Ravinandan Bhat, PRO, compered the program. Mrs. Shalet Mathias, Dean, Commerce Department, Mrs Annamma, from the department of Economics, and Mr Nikhil D’Souza, Physical education director were present.
