Udupi: National Industrial Technical Institute, at Heradi, a BES managed reputed poly technique training hub, always known for it’s infra structure facilities, expert teaching faculty and instant placements for its qualified Diploma holders many first of its kind credits to its cap of glory.
It is at the threshold of celebrating Ruby Jubilee in 2024 (established on 1st August, 1984, having the distinct credit of being the first ITI in the Udupi District) and offering innovative learning not only for their students but spreading the significance of technical education in the surrounding. As a part of this vision and far sight, Class IX, X, and PU Students of Govt Composite PU College, Brahmmavar had organised a visit to NITI on 5TH January, 2024.
Around 82 curious youngsters were accompanied by their teachers / faculty members reached the campus around 9.30 am, were cordially welcomed by the Principal Prof Venkatesh Kramadhari and his staff members and after some refreshments visited all Industrial Training Laboratories in welding fabrication TIG and MIG, Electrical, Fitter – General Mechanical, Motor Mechanical- Automobiles, Electronic Mechanical etc.
Among other things, the students were astonished to see the engine, gear box, brake system functions of motor vehicles, various models, prototypes made by senior students, learning over here, computer labs and serene and spacious learning atmosphere…
After four hours of visits though it was around 2.00 pm, children were not showing any signs of leaving and Principal assured them one more industrial visit in days to come to satiate the innovative young minds as they left the campus.
In the end it was an opportunity for direct interaction with technical persons, basic industrial procedures and give a feel of options in career in life distinct from traditional learning courses.
