Udupi: Milagres English Medium School, Kallianpur organized a farewell ceremony on February 24th to bid farewell to Mrs. Dora Dsouza, Mrs. Felcy Veigus, and Mr. Thimothy Rodrigues. These beloved teachers and the school attender have dedicated 38, 34, and 31 years of their lives, respectively, to the school.
The event was graced by the presence of Very Rev Fr Valerian Mendonca, the Manager and Correspondent of the School, along with Mr. Melwin Sequeira, PPC Vice President, and the President and Vice President of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA). The Headmistress, Sr. Shanti Prameela, warmly welcomed the gathering.
In a touching gesture, the teachers wished the retirees a joyful and fulfilling retired life through a song and presented a small token of love. Expressing gratitude and extending thanks, Mrs. Shwetha delivered the vote of thanks. The program was anchored by Mrs. Anita DSouza. The students conveyed their appreciation through words and dances.
The farewell ceremony was a heartfelt tribute to the remarkable contributions of Mrs. Dora Dsouza, Mrs. Felcy Veigus, and Mr. Thimothy Rodrigues to Milagres English Medium School with prayerful wish for their long and happy retired life.
