PTA gathering 2023-2024 at Trinity Central School, Perampalli.

Udupi : The first Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) gathering of Trinity Central School, Perampally, for the academic year 2023-24 took place on May 27, 2023. The  Chief guest for the day was Rev Fr. Valerian Mendonca.

Present on the dais were the Principal, Rev. Fr. Dominic Sunil Lobo; Vice Principal, Rev Fr. Ravi Rajesh Serrao; Academic Coordinator, Ms. Magdelina Lewis; Primary Section Head, Ms. Poornima Devadiga; Pre-Primary Section Head, Ms. Renita Monterio; PTA President, Mr. Krishna Shridharan; and PTA Secretary, Ms. Priya Furtado.

The program commenced with a prayer song sung by the teachers’ choir. This was followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. Ms. Benita welcomed the gathering.

TrinityCentral School, which started in 2009 from a humble beginning with 47 students, is now entering its 15th year  with great enthusiasm and vigor. The school has experienced exponential growth in various aspects such as academics, infrastructure, and environment. To mark this milestone, the dignitaries were escorted by the staff and PTA members to the Brindisi block for the inauguration of the Crystal Jubilee year which  was officially inaugurated by unfurling the Jubilee banner.

Further, the annual school magazine, Tritv 2022-2023, which reflects the achievements and growth of the students and the institution, was released after a gap of three years by the Chief guest, Rev Fr. Valerian Mendonca. Thereafter, he  addressed the gathering with his  words of wisdom.

Rev. Fr. Ravi Rajesh Serrao introduced the teachers, support staff, and transport crew to the parents, acknowledging their dedicated service to the school.

The Principal, Rev. Fr. Dominic Sunil Lobo, and the Academic Coordinator, Ms. Magdalina Lewis, provided an overview of the academics. Ms. Pallavi Santhosh briefed the parents about the different bus routes from various areas.

During the event, the Principal, Rev. Fr. Dominic Sunil Lobo, formed the PTA committee and selected new Parent Teacher Association members. PTA President, Mr. Krishna Shridharan, informed the attendees about the newly introduced PTA fund, which will be utilized for beneficial purposes.

Rev. Fr. Sunil Dominic Lobo addressed the gathering, seeking the support of parents in the holistic development of the school and its students. A quick demonstration of the installation and usage of the school mobile app was also provided.

Expressing gratitude, Ms. Steffi Saldanha delivered the vote of thanks. The entire program was hosted by Ms. Edna Ammanna, and it concluded with the national anthem. Refreshments were served to all in attendance.
