Udupi: On 22nd October, 2023, Sunday, the Liturgical Commission of the Milagres Cathedral Unit had organized a comprehensive training session at Milagres Tri-centenary Hall, Kallianpur to the lectors and choir members of the Parish.
The event commenced with a warm welcome by the Commission Coordinator, Rosy Baretto. The event drew the participation of approximately 120 members from the Parish.
The highlight of the training session was a keynote address by Fr. Cyril Lobo, the Director of Divya Jyothi, Udupi Diocese. Fr. Lobo, renowned for his expertise in liturgical matters, provided an insightful and detailed talk on various issues related to liturgy. His speech was not only informative but also engaging, captivating the attention of all present.
Rector of the Milagres Cathedral, Fr. Valerian Mendonca, Asst. Parish Priest, Fr. Joy Andrade and Mr. Melwyn Sequeira, Vice President of the PPC graced the event with their presence. Their involvement underscored the significance of the training session and the Diocese’s commitment to fostering spiritual growth and understanding within the community.
