Udupi: Grandparents play an important role in the lives of children. To acknowledge this great feat, Trinity Central School celebrated ‘Grandparents Day’ on 24 th February 2024.
The Grand Parents Day commenced with a prayer song invoking God’s blessings on the day and on all our activities. Rev. Fr. Dominic Sunil Lobo , the Principal, Rev. Fr. Ravi Rajesh, the vice principal and the Administrator, Ms. Magdelina Lewis, academic coordinator, guest speaker Ms. Sumatha Nayak and PTA president Mr. Srinivas were on the dais. The dignitaries on and off the dais were welcomed by Ms.Namratha.
The special day was filled with a variety of programmes like, a session which invovled the role of grandparents, few exercises and entertaining games which enthralled the audience. After a small refreshment break the day continued with a few grandparents sharing their experiences of the day spent in school with their grandchildren and the staff of Trinity.
Rev. Fr. Dominic Sunil Lobo, the principal speaking on the occasion thanked the grandparents for their participation and being actively involved in various events.
The programme came to an end by proposing a vote of thanks by Ms.Vinaya to the grandparents and the audience, staff, students and manage ment of Trinity Central School.
